Scope of Practice • Services include Reiki as a holistic therapy. • This service is a complementary therapy and not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care. • Practitioner follows UK HCPC, UKCP, and holistic therapy guidelines. Appointments & Conduct • Mobile sessions take place at client-provided locations that must be safe and private. • Sessions may be declined or ended if safety or ethics are compromised. • Respectful conduct is expected; inappropriate behaviour ends the session with no refund. Payment & Cancellation • Payment due upon booking or arrival (cash/bank transfer), as agreed with the practitioner. • Cancellations must be made 24+ hours in advance; late cancellations may incur a 50% fee. • Emergency exceptions considered case by case. Privacy & Confidentiality • We collect personal data for client care and operations. • Data is stored securely and handled in line with UK GDPR. • Disclosure only occurs when legally required or necessary to prevent harm. • You may request access, updates, or deletion via KalmBeing3@gmail.com. Health & Safety • Sessions follow strict hygiene protocols. • Each space is assessed for safety (e.g., pets, hazards). • Please inform us of health issues or accessibility needs in advance. Practitioner Safety • Therapist maintains a vetted schedule shared with a trusted contact. • First-time clients may require a pre-session consultation, which is free of charge. • Sessions may be declined or ended to uphold boundaries and safety. Equipment & Environment • Equipment is sanitized and maintained regularly. • Clients must provide access and notify us of environmental concerns (e.g., pets, stairs, parking). Insurance & Legal Compliance • KalmBeing is fully insured for mobile holistic services. • We operate under relevant UK health and safety legislation. Incidents & Policy Review • Accidents or near-misses are documented and reviewed. • Policies are updated annually or after notable events.
